We were recently featured for receiving a Capacity Grant through New York State’s Conservation Partnership Program, part of a $3 million investment supporting land trusts across the state. The article highlights our efforts to protect open spaces, improve water quality, and enhance public access to outdoor recreation, alongside 44 other land trusts working to conserve natural resources and advance climate resilience.
This recognition underscores Outdoor Promise’s dedication to environmental justice and community-based conservation. By strengthening local green spaces and protecting vital natural resources, our work ensures that youth and families—especially in historically underserved areas—have safe, accessible opportunities to explore and learn in nature. Supporting programs like this helps build a healthier, more equitable Hudson Valley for generations to come.
